Prime Surfaces was founded in 2018 by Leo Chuahy and Renata Diniz, built on a foundation most fabricators don't have: years in the stone-slab import and distribution business.

Before Prime Surfaces installed a single countertop, its founders were importing slabs directly from Brazil, Spain, and Italy and distributing them to the trade. That heritage shapes everything we do — we read stone the way a distributor does, and we plan cuts and seams the way a craftsman does.
As the market moved toward large-format porcelain, we invested in becoming certified installers of the leading systems — Neolith, Dekton, Porcelanosa, and Daltile Panoramic — rather than choosing between stone and porcelain. That decision is why we can serve homeowners, designers, and builders across the widest range of projects, from a powder-room vanity to a full ventilated building façade.
